Welcome to Country Kidz, a dedicated early childhood education center deeply rooted in community values. Our primary focus is to provide tamariki with high-quality, child-led learning opportunities in a serene rural setting. We invite you to explore our wonderful indoor and outdoor learning spaces, designed to inspire curiosity and exploration.  Our passionate teaching team is committed to creating a nurturing environment for tamariki. We eagerly await your visit, where you can witness the wonders of Country Kidz firsthand.

As a charitable organisation, we are proud to offer early education services that prioritise the needs of our rural community. Our fee schedule is designed to ensure that financial barriers do not hinder access to our programs for whānau. We strive to create an inclusive environment where all families can benefit from our services.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Country Kidz is a rural, mixed age early learning centre nurturing the learning and development of future kaitiaki.  We provide a welcoming environment that embraces holistic development through play-based, child-led learning.  A strong sense of turangawaewae gives tamariki the freedom to explore, investigate, and learn from where their interests and urges take them.  This provides a pathway that inspires inquiring minds, problem solving, resilience, and a love of learning.  

We are a passionate teaching team open-minded to tamariki learning styles and responsive to individual needs and aspirations.  To extend development our teaching team provide positive guidance, role modelling, and opportunities for our tamariki to further their learning goals and ambitions. 

We value the authentic relationships we build with parents and whānau - connection to the community we provide for is at the heart of everything we do.  Through these relationships we are able to understand and value the unique whakapapa and kaupapa our tamariki bring with them.
